The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released a notification stating that a ‘fake’ date sheet for class 10th, 12th UP board exams is circulating on social media platforms. The board has notified the students that no such date sheet has been released by UPMSP. Also, Divya Kant Shukla, Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has confirmed too that the viral date sheet is fake.
The Board Secretary talking to media said that “It is informed that the high school (Class 10) and intermediate (Class 12) examinations date sheet of the year 2021 was being circulated on WhatsApp dated 17-5-2021 which says that examinations will be held from 05 June 2021 to 25 June 2021. This timetable is absolutely fake. FIR will be registered against those who have circulated this fake news.”

UP board has postponed the class 10th, 12th board examinations 2021 till May 20, 2021. Uttar Pradesh government announced that the new exam dates will be announced after reviewing the current pandemic situation. The authorities are yet to decided whether these exams should be cancelled amid a surge in COVID cases.
Earlier, in a meeting chaired by the Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, a decision to extend the closure of all schools and educational institutions until further notice was made. It is also expected that the board shall make an announcement regarding revised UP 10th 12th Board Exam dates 2021 soon. The revised UPMSP date sheet 2021 for classes 10, 12 will be released online at the official website, upmsp.edu.in.
This year, a total of 56,03,813 candidates have registered for the UP Board class 10 and 12 board exams. Out of the total registrations made, as many as 29,94,312 students have applied for Class 12th exams and 26,09,501 for Class 10th UPMSP exams. In comparison to last year, the number of female applicants has been increased. A total of 13,20,290 female students have applied for Class 12th and 11,35,730 female students have applied for Class 10th examinations.
