The semester 1 examination for ICSE Economics, Sanskrit, and French was held for a total of 40 marks. An MCQ pattern was followed and the question paper had various sections. Other than YouTube, students can also get access to the answer keys from Telegram groups as well. Let’s take a look at what portions were covered from the three papers.
- Economics – Questions were asked from a total of three complete units and one partial unit. The complete units include The Productive Mechanism, Theory of Demand and Supply and Market. However, only the sub-unit on ‘Money’ was needed for Banking in India.
- Sanskrit – The Sanskrit paper had three components: Elementary Sanskrit Grammar, Translation from English into Sanskrit consisting of short prose sentences and Translation from Sanskrit into English.
- French – There were only two portions that were covered in the semester 1 examinations. These are Comprehension and Grammar.
So far, it is not clear whether CISCE will release the official answer keys or not. However, the educators and the coaching institutes have now come up with unofficial answer keys which can be useful for the students. It is expected that more answer keys will be available in due time and students should wait to check the same later on. As and when they are released, students can use them and calculate a tentative score in ICSE Economics, Sanskrit and French.
