The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted the class 12 Chemistry (code 043) examination today. The examination was conducted from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, for a duration of 90 minutes. Students were given a duration of 20 minutes for reading the question paper instead of 15 minutes, unlike previous years. However, soon after the completion of the exam, various coaching centres and educators will start releasing the analysis and question paper solutions soon on various platforms.
These platforms mostly include YouTube and social media sites like Telegram, and web portals as well. CBSE Class 12 Chemistry was set for a total of 35 marks. The syllabus that was covered for the term 1 examination is a total of 06 units. These units are Solid State, Solutions, p-block elements, Haloalkenes and Haloarenes, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers along with Biomolecules.
CBSE had already released the sample question paper on its official website – cbseacademic.nic.in. According to it, the paper had three sections namely A, B and C. This is for the first time that the Board is conducting the Term 1 examinations in an MCQ format due to the bifurcation of the board exams. The CBSE guidelines also required the students to enter their examination centres at least 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam. Students were required to submit the OMR sheets sharp by 1 PM.
With the completion of the examination, the students now seem to be in search of the answer keys for the CBSE class 12 Chemistry. However, it is still unclear whether CBSE will release the official answer keys or not. Nonetheless, various coaching centres and educators will start coming up with the answer keys. As mentioned already, students and guardians can access these answer keys from online platforms like YouTube, Telegram, etc.
A few notable channels that are likely to release the answer keys are Vedantu 9&10, CBSE class video, Unacademy Class 10 & 12, Magnet Brains, etc. Please note that these are not the only channels that are expected to release the answer keys. There are more channels and coaching centres on YouTube that will be releasing the answer keys very soon.
However, just in case the answer keys are not available right now, then it is advised to wait for some time and check the same later on. Please note that these answer keys are unofficial and students should not rely on them completely. They can have a maximum of 95% accuracy and so one should go through multiple answer keys. CBSE does not verify the unofficial answer keys.
