ICMR National Institute of Malaria Research (ICMR NIMR) has issued an addendum in continuation of recruitment notifications for various contractual/projects posts dated September 01, 2020, and September 05, 2020. Walk-in interviews for recruitment to the advertised vacancies will be conducted on September 16, 17 and 18, 2020 from 09.00 AM to 11.00 AM on each day. The latest addendum announcing 08 additional vacancies is available at the official website i.e. nimr.org.in. The additional vacancies are advertised for posts such as Lab Technician III, Data Entry Operator, JRF and others. Since the vacancies are in continuation of the recruitment notification dated September 01, 2020, all the terms and conditions of the recruitment will be as per the aforementioned original notification.
The newly added vacancies are for various posts under various projects. Under the project “Establishment of ten ICMR Bio-repositories for COVID-19”, there are 02 vacancies available for the post of Lab Technician-III, 01 for the post of Data Entry Operator and 01 for the post of Research Assistant. Under the project titled “Centre of Excellence for Climate Change & Vector-Borne Diseases”, there are single vacancies available for each of the posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Data Entry Operator. Similarly, under the project titled “Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Measures Towards Potential Impacts of Climate Change on Malaria in Hot Spots”, one vacancy each is available for the posts of Research Assistant and Insect Collector.
The appointment will be made for the designated period against each project as the vacancies are to be filled up on a contractual basis. During the project term, candidates are to be paid monthly consolidated emolument. Lab Technician-III, Data Entry Operator and Research Assistant post holders are entitled to receive Rs 18000, Rs 18000 and Rs 31000 respectively. Similarly, for the posts of JRF and DEO under the “Centre of Excellence for Climate Change & Vector-Borne Diseases” project, candidates will receive a monthly payment of Rs 310000 (plus HRA) and Rs 17000 respectively. For the project titled “Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Measures Towards Potential Impacts of Climate Change on Malaria in Hot Spots”, candidates appointed to the post of Research Assistant and Insect Collector are entitled to receive a monthly payment of Rs 31000 and Rs 16000 respectively.
Candidates are advised to check the minimum eligibility conditions to apply for each post from the official notice published in continuation to the notice dated September 01, 2020. The schedule of the interview is also indicated through the newly published addendum. Interview for the post of JRF is scheduled to be conducted on September 16, 2020. Interviews for the posts of Lab Technician III and Research Assistant are to be conducted on September 17, 2020. Similarly, interviews for the posts of Data Entry Operator and Insect Collector are to be conducted on September 18, 2020.
