The Institute of Cost Accountants of India has rescheduled the CMA intermediate and final examination of the institute. While citing the reason for the postponement of the examination as ‘unavoidable circumstances’, the official notification stated that the exam which was scheduled from October 21, 2021 to November 18, 2021 stands postponed. As a result, the institute has postponed the June examinations and merged them with the December session.
Now, the intermediate and final examination will be held on alternate dates for each group. The exams will commence from December 08, 2021 and end on December 15, 2021. The intermediate exams will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM while the finals will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. For Group-I and Group-III, the exams will take place on December 08, 10, 12 and 14, 2021. On the other hand, the exams for Group-II and group-IV will be held on December 09, 11, 13 and 15, 2021.
Please note that the examination forms for both intermediate and final exams have to be filled online and the examination fees must also be deposited online. No means of offline form or DD payment will be accepted from the domestic candidates. However, students opting for overseas centres have to apply offline and send DD along with the form. To apply online, simply login to the official website icmai.in and use the payment gateway to pay the required fees. However, students can also pay the required fee using the pay-fee module of IDBI bank.
The final examination fee for one group is Rs 1400 while that for the intermediate examination is Rs 1200. For overseas centres under one group, the final examination fee is US $100 and that for the intermediate examination is US $90. Similarly, for the two groups, the final examination fee is Rs 2800 while that for the intermediate examination is Rs 2400. For overseas centres under two groups, the final examination fee is US $100 and that for the intermediate examination is US $90.
Students who have chosen for OPT-OUT for the intermediate and final examinations, December, 2020 session need not apply again. Please note that the examination application forms will be received till October 08, 2021. The exam will be held in an online centre-based mode. Candidates must provide updated and in-use mobile numbers and email IDs. Only those candidates who will fulfill the specified conditions will be allowed to appear for the examination. The probable date for publication of results will be informed in due course of time.
