IIT Kharagpur is going to release the JEE Advanced 2021 response sheet today, i.e. October 05, 2021, by 5 PM. The students who had appeared in the exam can download their recorded responses for paper 1 and paper 2 on the official website i.e. jeeadv.ac.in, via the candidate login. Whereas the exam was held on Sunday, October 3, 2021, the question papers were officially released yesterday.
As per the official brochure and website, the time at which response sheet will be released is ‘by 5 PM’. Thus, one can definitely expect to be able to see the responses from 5 pm onwards. However there are equally high chances that the responses will be made available before 5 pm, as the time mentioned says ‘by 5 pm’.
Earlier JEE Advanced or the IIT JEE used to be held in offline mode, and candidates could carry either copies of their OMR sheets or marked responses in question paper. Ever since the exam has gone online, as computer based test, the IITs release candidate responses to ensure candidates which answers of theirs were recorded.
The candidate’s response sheet comprises the answers marked by them in the JEE Advanced 2021 examination. On one hand, having the responses increases transparency in the exam, and the other hand, it is also useful for students to calculate the marks. While the official answer keys are yet to release, unofficial versions are already out; top coaching like Resonance, Allen, Akash Institute have published the unofficial answer keys. Candidates can cross-check their answers marked in the examination with the one’s marked by the coaching class and then deduce a probable score.
The provisional answer key for both the papers of JEE Advanced is going to be announced on October 10, 2021, at 10 am. While the final answer key is going to be announced on October 15, 2021.
Once the response sheet are released, follow the steps mentioned below to know the steps to download the JEE Advanced 2021 response sheet:
Step 1: Visit the JEE Advanced dedicated portal, jeeadv.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the candidate’s response sheet and proceed
Step 3: After this, enter the application number and password and click on the login option
Step 4: On the dashboard, click on the response sheet of paper 1 and paper 2 and go through the same
Step 5: In the end, save a copy of the JEE Advanced 2021 response sheet on the device for reference purpose
The candidates who will be successful in getting high ranks in the JEE Advanced 2021 will be eligible to attend the counselling conducted by Josaa. Furthermore, these candidates will stand a chance to get admission in B.E./B.Tech programmes in different disciplines offered by top IIT colleges
