The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is going to conduct the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) exam for the recruitment to the post of Technician(T-1) on February 28, March 2, 4, and 5, 2022. The admit card will be released soon at the official website iari.res.in. Candidates can download the admit card by logging in with their application number and date of birth. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be conducted from January 25 to February 5, 2022. However, it was postponed due to an unprecedented increase in COVID infections throughout the country. The exam is conducted for the post of Technicians into 641 vacancies. The exam will be held in 164 cities across the country.

ICAR IARI 2022 admit card
Once the link is activated, candidates can follow the below-given steps to download the ICAR IARI admit card –
Step 1: Visit the website iari.res.in
Step 2: In the ‘IARI News’ section, on the right-hand side, candidates will find the link to download the admit card. Click on the link.

Step 3: Enter the application number and date of birth to log in.
Step 4: Candidates will be able to view the admit card. Download it and take a printout.
The admit card is expected to be released 1 week prior to the exam. Candidates can find the exam center details, exam date, and time on the admit card. Candidates should mandatorily carry a valid ID proof along with a printed copy of the admit card, to the exam hall.
ICAR IARI Exam pattern
The exam is conducted as a Computer Based Test. The total duration of the exam is 1.5 hours. Candidates are tested in 4 areas. The maximum marks is 100. Candidates will be provided with an option to attempt the exam in either English or Hindi. Candidates can check the official notification for the detailed syllabus. Each question carries 1 mark and there is a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer marked by the candidate.

Candidates belonging to the General category should obtain a minimum of 40% marks to qualify the exam. The minimum qualifying marks for OBC/ EWS/ SC candidates is 30% and for the ST candidates, it is 25%. Candidates who qualify the exam will be called up for document verification, prior to the recruitment.
