National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare ICAR AIEEA result for UG and PG entrance exam soon. The result for ICAR will be released online, at icar.nta.nic.in. The candidates can check their result in the form of scorecard under their respective login. To check the result, application number and password are required.
While calculating the raw score for compilation of the result, NTA uses the marking scheme of the exam. The marking scheme is +4 for correct answers and -1 for the wrong ones.
The result of ICAR AIEEA UG and PG 2020 is prepared using percentile and normalization procedure. For multi-shift papers, raw marks obtained by the candidates in different shifts/sessions are converted to NTA Score (percentile score). The scorecard will carry the section wise percentile score and the overall percentile score of the candidates. The result is sent to ICAR, and ICAR is responsible for the compilation of the merit list.
Overall and category wise merit list is compiled by ICAR for counselling and admission.
All questions asked in AIEEA UG and PG exam are MCQ type and have only 1 correct answer. If there is any discrepancy in the questions and options from NTA’s behalf then the requisite measure will be taken. 3 cases can arise as per NTA:
#1. In cases where two / three options are found to be correct post-challenge or during answer key verification, then marks will be awarded to only those students who have marked either of the correct options.
#2. If all options are found to be correct against a question, then full marks to be awarded to all the candidates.
#3. If none of the options are correct or a question is found to be wrong / invalid, then the question will be dropped and full marks to be awarded to all candidates.
However, once NTA has declared the result, there will be no rechecking or revaluation facility given to the candidates.
Candidates who qualify the exam are called for counselling. Candidates declared eligible for registration and choice filling for counselling by ICAR will only be considered for allocation of the subject and the Agricultural University. The counselling schedule will be notified separately on the ICAR website, icar.org.in, after the declaration of the result.
All admission and allotment of seats will be based on the percentage of reservation of seats allotted for each category. 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 5% for the physically challenged candidates, and 2% for the remote and under privileged states / UTs (UPS).
