Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has today, January 05, 2022, has announced the PO Preliminary Examination 2021 result. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment exam can download their scorecards from the official website ibps.in. The preliminary exam was conducted on December 04 and 11, 2021. Those who score equal to or above the cut-off marks will be shortlisted for the next stage i.e., the mains exam. Although IBPS is yet to provide the exact cut-off for each category, one can take a look at the expected cut-offs to understand their shortlisting status.

To access the IBPS PO Prelims Result 2021, candidates can visit the official website ibps.in. Thereafter, on the homepage, they can click on the link attached to the words “Click here to view your result status for Online Preliminary Examination for CRP PO/MTs-XI”. On clicking this moving link, candidates will gain access to the login page. They need to key in the required credentials such as Registration Number/Roll Number, Password and Security Code to access the result. The result will specify whether or not a candidate has been shortlisted for the next stage.
IBPS PO Prelims Result 2021 – What to do if you get Invalid Login Credentials Error
The error “invalid login credentials” is displayed when one enters wrong login details. In such a case, candidate should (1) check registration number from their application form OR check roll number from IBPS PO 2021 admit card, and (2) check dob from application form.
IBPS PO 2021 Cut Off
Contrary to last year, IBPS has not disclosed or divulged the PO Preliminary Exam 2021 cut-offs for various categories. Result only specifies the candidate’s name, registration number, roll number, post and selection status. Last year however, IBPS had disclosed the cut-off marks for each category as well as marks obtained by each candidate. While these differences are evident, the institute has not provided any reasoning to justify these changes.

Schedule for the next stage is expected to come out in the coming few days. However, several news reports are claiming that the mains exam will likely be held this month itself. Again, it is reiterated that the IBPS PO Mains 2021 exam date is yet to be announced by the institute. However, once the date comes out, admit cards will most likely release 10-15 days prior, on the official portal. The mains exam schedule is expected to be announced in the coming few days.
