Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, has announced recruitment for Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-III. The recruitment for IB ACIO is announced recently through employment news 19-25 December 2020. As per the IB ACIO notification, the recruitment is declared for the 2000 vacancies. The online registration for the same will start soon. Eligible candidates who are interested in the recruitment can apply for IB ACIO Recruitment 2021 on or before January 09, 2021. As per the employment news, IB has announced 989 vacancies for unreserved category, 113 for EWS category, 417 for OBC category, 360 for SC category and 121 for ST category candidates. These vacancies are tentative which means the total vacancies may or may not increase in number. Applicants appointed under IB Executive examination 2020 get monthly salary under the pay scale of Rs. 44,900/- to Rs. 1,42,400/-.
To apply for IB ACIO recruitment, candidates must have graduation degree or equivalent from a recognized university. They should have completed the minimum age of 18 years while applying for recruitment. Their age should not exceed the upper age limit of 27 years. The upper age limit is also relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC candidates.
Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications online by visiting mha.gov.in. First, they have to register themselves for the recruitment and then proceed to submit the IB ACIO application form. While applying, candidates also have to provide his/ her choice of the city of examination. Exam city once opted can not be changed. Once done with the application process, candidates can take a print out of the submitted IB Executive exam application form for future use.
The selection of candidates for IB ACIO is based on the Written examination (Tier 1 and Tier 2) and interview round. The first stage is the Tier-1 CBT exam. It carries 100 objective questions carrying 01 marks each. There will be negative marking in IB ACIO Tier-1 exam. Candidates will be provided 01 hours to complete the exam questions will be asked from General Awareness, Numerical ability, General Studies, English and Quantitative Aptitude. Applicants have to secure minimum 35% marks (34 marks for OBC/ EWS and 33 marks for SC/ ST) to qualify Tier 1 and appear for Tier 2.
Tier-2 is the descriptive stage. In tier-2 is the descriptive examination carrying 50 marks. Candidates will be given 01 hours to attempt questions from Essay writing (30 marks) and English Comprehension (20 marks). It is only after qualifying Tier-2 exam that candidates can appear for the interview. Intelligence Bureau conducts an interview for 100 marks. The exact dates for the Tier-1.
