Board of Secondary Education, Haryana (BSEH) has extended the application form date for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET). Candidates who have missed the previous deadline can now apply for HTET until December 3, 2021, by logging into the official website at haryanatet.in.
Now, as the deadline has been extended, the edit window is also expected to witness extension to further dates. Candidates will be able to make corrections to their application form online. It must be noted that no changes can be made in the particulars including applied level, caste category, physically challenged option, and the home state.
Before starting with the process, interested applicants must ensure that they have a valid E-mail ID and mobile number. Personal details, Valid photo ID, recent photograph, signature, and thumb impression must be kept handy while applying.
Candidates can check the steps mentioned below to apply for HTET:
Step 1 – Go to the website of HTET, haryanatet.in. Click on the Registration/Login tab on the home page. Then click on Apply now button.
Step 2 – Registration process:
- Select exam levels (PRT, TGT, PGT). Candidates can select one or more levels.
- After selecting a registration form will open where candidates will be required to fill in the personal details.
- Login credentials will be sent via SMS to the candidate’s mobile number. Log in with the provided credentials.
- My Page will be generated bearing all information and will provide information regarding due steps.
Step 3 – After completing the registration candidates will have to upload a scanned photograph, signature, and thumb impression of the left thumb.
Step 4 – After successfully uploading the documents candidates will have to pay the application fee and take a print of the fee receipt. The fee structure for each category has been specifically provided in the notification. Candidates are advised to refer to the document.
Step 5 – Applicants should take a print of the application form and check all the details.
It must be noted that applicants must submit only one application. Multiple applications would lead to the cancellation of candidature by the board.
According to the official notification, admit cards for the examination will be available for download from December 8, 2021. In case of a discrepancy in the admit card, candidates are advised to reach the exam cell from December 13 to December 16. Exam for HTET will be conducted on December 18 and 19, 2021 for three levels. Level 1, for acquiring eligibility to teach Classes I-V as PRT. Level 2, for Classes VI-VII as TGT. And, Level 3, for classes IX-XII as PGT.
It will be a pen and paper-based examination and the questions will be of MCQ type. For each level question paper will be 150 marks and the duration will be of two and a half hours. Qualifying marks for all candidates (except SC & PH of Haryana) will be 60% and for SC & PH candidates of Haryana, qualifying marks will be 55%. There will be no negative marking for any of the levels
