Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH), the conducting body of the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test exam has announced extension in the closing date to apply for the exam this year. The last date to apply for HTET 2020 exam has been extended to December 10, 2020 from December 04, 2020. In addition, the last date to make corrections in the online application form has also been extended from December 11 to December 13, 2020. HTET 2020 exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 02 and 03, 2021 in centres across the state. The BSEH started online registration and application form fill up for Haryana TET exam from November 16, 2020. Earlier, Board announced that the online registration and form fill-up process at the website bseh.org.in will end on December 04, 2020. Similarly, it was also announced that corrections in the application form would be done from December 05 to December 08, 2020. Candidates must follow the latest schedule to fill up the applications if not done already. It is advised that candidates do not wait till the last date to submit their applications.

The application process of HTET 2020 exam is conducted at the official website of the Board of Secondary Education (Haryana). Aspiring candidates should know that there are three levels. Level-1 is for those who wish to become a Primary Teacher (PRT – Class I to V), Level-2 is for those who wish to become a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT – Class VI to VIII) and Level-3 is for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT).
Aspirants can apply for HTET 2020 to appear in anyone, any two or all of the three levels. The total fee for appearing in 1 level, 2 levels and 3 levels is Rs 1000, Rs 1800 and Rs 2400 respectively for Unreserved candidates. SC and PH candidates of the state have to pay Rs 500, Rs 900 and Rs 1200 in order to appear for 1, 2 and 3 levels. Before applying, one must read the information brochure available online and understand all the terms and conditions and eligibility conditions of the exam before applying.
HTET 2020 exam is scheduled to be held as per schedule on January 02 and 03, 2021. An all objective-type question paper is provided in the exam which carries only MCQ type questions having 4 alternatives and only one correct answer. One may note that there is no negative marking in the exam. The total duration of the exam is 2.5 hours. Furthermore, the question paper is based on subjects like Child Development & Pedagogy, English/Hindi Language, General Studies, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and Subject-Specific questions.
