Two images have gone viral on social media that claim HSSC Clerk exam is postponed. It has been confirmed now that both are fake. HSSC Clerk recruitment 2019 exam scheduled to be held on September 21, September 22, and September 23 will be conducted as per schedule.
Candidates who come across the following two viral images anywhere may ignore them. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission is reported to be looking into the matter.
The first image that candidates came across was an image that looked like a screenshot of the CMO Haryana twitter account. It says, “Haryana Staff Selection Commission written examination notice advertisement 5/2019 category number 1 for the post of clerk exam to be held on dated 21st 22nd and 23rd of September 2019 has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances.”
Official twitter handle of the Haryana Chief Minister is twitter.com/cmohry. Today, the CM has tweeted about extension of HTET certificate validity (validity has been extended from 5 years to 7 years), NRC to be implemented in Haryana. There is no such tweet on postponing the HSSC Clerk 2019 exam.
Whereas the other image is a screenshot of an official looking notification. The notice says, “Reference Haryana Staff Selection written examination notice in lieu advertisement no. 5/2019, category no.1 for the post of Clerk exam to be held dated 21st, 22nds, 23rd of Sep 2019 has been postponed due to some unavoidable circumstances. Hence all the candidates are requested to treat is as on hold till further orders by the commission.”
The notice further says, It is notified for the information of all concerned that the aforementioned examination are hereby postponed on administrative till further orders. Inconvenience is regretted”.
Admit card for the exam was issued on Saturday. To download it, candidates need to type adv52019.hryssc.in/StaticPages/login.aspx in their browser address bar. Then they have to login with their login ID and password. After logging in, candidates are not able to see any download admit card link. Although the commission has not provided any official solution to the issue, few candidates have come up with a solution – after logging in, delete the text in address bar. Then type in adv52019.hryssc.in/AdmitCard_Written_Online_52019_Cat1/PrintAdmitCard.aspx?pid=1. After doing it if the page says “service unavailable” then candidate needs to hit the refresh button a few times until the admit card pdf opens.
HSSC clerk admit card 2019 contains registration number, roll number, applicant name, father’s / husband’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, category, aadhaar number, permanent address, exam center details, exam date, entry time, exam time, exam center code, venue, photograph, signature.
On September 21, the exam will be held in the evening session from 4.30 pm to 6 pm. Reporting time is 2.30 pm. No entry after 3.30 pm. On September 22 and September 23, the exam will be held in the morning session from 10.30 am to 12 noon and evening session from 3 pm to 4.30 pm. Morning session reporting time is 8 am, no entry after 9.30 am. Evening session reporting time is 12.30 pm, no entry after 2 pm.
The exam will be of 90 marks. With 75% questions on general awareness, reasoning, maths, science, computer, english, hindi and concerned or relevant subject. 25% questions will be on history, current affairs, literature, geography, civics, environment, culture etc. of Haryana. HSSC Clerk recruitment 2019 is for 4,858 vacancies.
