Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is conducting computer based test for Nursing Officer post code 4479, Nursing Officer Female post code 4503, and Junior Clerk post code 4384, on September 22. As per the notification released last Wednesday, the admit card for all three posts were supposed to be available for download from yesterday, September 15.
BHU admit card 2019 for junior clerk, nursing officer (also referred to as staff nurse) ought to be available at bhu.ac.in/rac/ which is the official website of Recruitment and Assessment Cell portal of BHU. Until now, there is no update on the same.
Usually BHU RAC updates a text notice at least at the website after it releases admit card and provides link for candidates to login. For example, when the admit card for the post of staff nurse post code 4441 was released earlier this year, the university updated this text at bhu.ac.in/rac/ : “Please click on following link to download the Provisional Admit Card for the post of Staff Nurse (Post Code-4441), SSH/Trauma Centre, BHU.”
The text was published under non-teaching positions table on the website. Although the text did not have any link attached to it, but below the table is the common application form link for all BHU non teaching recruitment. Candidates need to click on that to reach form filling as well as login link.
Candidates waiting for BHU admit card for junior clerk, nursing officer, nursing officer female posts can once try to login here (the apply online link under non teaching posts). It is probable that admit card is available there.
In last year’s staff nurse recruitment, candidates were provided the link bhu.campuslabs.in/generateAdmitCardBHUOnline.action to download admit card. This link is not working this year. It may be noted that the non teaching post recruitment for Banaras Hindu University – form filling section – is managed by campus labs that provide ERP solutions.
BHU recruitment 2019 for Nursing Officer post code 4479 is for 385 vacancies; divided into 194 for UR, 58 for SC, 29 for ST, 104 for OBC. That Nursing Officer (Female) post code 4503 has 385 vacancies; with 197 for UR, 57 for SC, 28 for ST, and 103 for OBC. BHU Junior Clerk recruitment 2019 for post code 4384 consists of 170 vacancies; with 85 UR, 27 SC, 15 ST, 43 OBC vacancies. All these posts were advertised vide Advertisement No – 06/2018-2019.
Initially the computer based test was supposed to be held on September 4. However for undisclosed reasons, the test was postponed.
The computer based test for nursing officer will be of two hours, have 120 multiple choice questions, and be of 360 max marks. 75% questions shall be related to the job, and 25% will be on general knowledge, current affairs, quantitative aptitude. Junior clerk exam will be of the same duration, with the same number of MCQs. However the syllabus is different. The questions will be on language, general knowledge, current affairs, reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, basic computer knowledge.
In both papers, negative marking of 1 mark per incorrect answer shall apply.
