Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has released the HPPSC HPAS admit card on the official website, hppsc.hp.gov.in. The preliminary exam for the HP civil services is scheduled for September 26, 2021, in two shifts. Paper 1 i.e. general studies is scheduled from 10 am to 12 pm and paper 2 i.e. aptitude test is going to held in second shift from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The HPPSC HPAS admit card is available solely on the official website, but the candidates are informed about the admit card through sms also. The preliminary exam for HPPSC HPAS comprise of two papers viz. general studies and aptitude paper. Both the papers of the preliminary exam will account for 100 questions per paper fetching 200 marks. The duration to complete each paper is 2 hours and a negative marking is prescribed for the wrong answers. Paper 2 viz. Aptitude paper will be of qualifying nature and candidate have to score at least 33% of the total marks in it.

Step 1: Visit the official website of HPPSC, hppsc.hp.gov.in.
Step 2: Scroll down at the bottom of the homepage and click on apply online.
Step 3: Next, click on online application registraton option and move to the login page.
Step 4: Enter user id and password followed by captcha code and click on the login button.
Step 5: Cross-verify the admit card available on the next page and save a copy.

Those who have lost their password can recover the same by clicking on the forgot passowrd link available on the login page. Post clicking, they need to mention the registered email id followed by security pin and clicking on the submit button. Then, a verification link shall be sent that candidates have to click to set a new password for their respective accounts.
As per the official notifcation, number of candidates equal to 20 times the vacancies reported will be called to the next stage. The candidates who successfully qualify for the preliminary exam will stand a chance to appear in the mains written examination.
