Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited is organizing a recruitment drive to fill up the vacant posts of Supervisory and Workmen Cadre. A notice for the recruitment is available on the official website, hppcl.in. The conducting body has published 05 vacancies for the announced posts. Moreover, these vacancies are advertised for Person with disability (PwDs) category only. Eligible candidates can submit their forms on or before the last date i.e September 15, 2020.
HPPCL is hiring for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Mechanical), Steno-typist-trainee and Junior Office Assistant Trainee. Vacancy bifurcation of the announced post is as follows, 02 vacancies for Junior Engineer (Civil), 01 vacancies for Junior Engineer, 01 vacancies for Steno Typist Trainee and 01 vacancies for Junior Officer Assistant Trainee.
Candidates who are residents of the state of Himachal Pradesh are eligible to apply for the announced posts. They must have attained the minimum age limit of 18 years before applying. Their upper age limit should not exceed that of 45 years as on the last date of the last of the application form submission. Age relaxation to SC, ST and OBC is permissible as per the Himachal Pradesh Government rules.
Moreover, they must possess the educational qualification as specified by the conducting body. Aspirants intending to apply for Junior Engineer must possess a Diploma or Degree in concerned engineering department from a recognized board/ institution. Those who have AMIE from the institution of Engineer (India) are also eligible to apply for Junior Engineer. To apply for Steno Typist Trainee, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. Along with this speed in shorthand and typewriting in both English ad Hindi languages is required. Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination and possess one year diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ IT can apply for Junior Office Assistant Trainee post. Those who have an O or A level diploma from NIELIT or diploma in information technology are eligible for this post. Moreover, candidates must also be able to type 30 WPM in English and 25 WPM in Hindi to apply for Steno Typist Trainee and Junior Office Assistant Trainee.
Application forms can be downloaded from HPPCL website, hppcl.in. The form should be submitted to the Director (Personnel), HPPCL, Himfed Building, BCS, New Shimla, Shimla 171009. Along with the form candidates also have to submit their 10th pass certificate, 10+2/ Diploma/ Degree Certificate for the posts applied for, SC/ST/OBC/EWS & Antodaya/BPL certificate, one passport size photograph and other relevant documents.
