Hindustan Copper Limited is inviting applications for the engagement of eligible candidates for Apprentice Training. HCL has published an official notification in this regard for the purpose of filling up 08 vacancies. Advertisement Number HCL/TCP/HR/APP/2020 dated August 05, 2020 available at the website i.e. hindustancopper.com indicates the vacancies for three different trades. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for engagement in the prescribed proforma of applications available with the notification and send them to the Dy. Manager (HR) of Taloja Copper Project on or before September 07, 2020.
As per the notification, there are 08 vacancies available altogether in three different trades. There are 04 vacancies available for the trade of Fitter, 01 for the trade of Turner and 03 for the trade Electrician. Eligible candidates who apply for the aforementioned trades for apprenticeship are engaged under the provisions of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. The training period is for 01 year and there are no provisions for absorption into the company or any other employment in HCL. Selection of eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of written test.
Candidates must first ensure that they fulfil all the specified minimum eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment. The age of the candidates cannot be more than 25 years as on August 01, 2020. However, relaxations on the upper age limit are applicable as per government norms in vogue. SC/ST candidates can avail up to 05 years of relaxation while OBC (NCL) candidates can avail up to 03 years of relaxation. Candidates must have passed Class 10th exam and have an ITI certificate in the specified trade are eligible to apply.
Candidates who wish to apply for the recruitment are advised to go through the detailed recruitment notice carefully and ensure that they fulfil all terms and conditions before applying. Those who have undergone Apprenticeship training before are not eligible to apply. Thus, applicants who have acquired their qualifications before the year 2018 have to submit an Affidavit on Non-Judicial stamp paper duly attested by Magistrate or Notary Public declaring that they have not undergone such training before.
Before sending the applications in the prescribed proforma, candidates have to register online at the website apprenticeship.gov.in. The registration ID generated must be indicated in the application form. Applications in the prescribed proforma must be neatly filled and enclosed with the photocopies of all supporting documents. Incomplete applications including those which do not have necessary documents attached are not considered by the authorities. All applications must be submitted in the Office of Dy. Manager (HR), Taloja Copper Project, E33-36, MIDC, Taloja 410208 on or before the last date.
