Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is concluding the application process for the Sub Inspector posts today, i.e on July 02 and the application fee for the same can be paid by July 06, 2021. Total 465 vacancies are announced by the commission to fill the post of Sub Inspector. The aspirants who have passed their graduate degree and are interested to apply, have one last opportunity to fill the form of Haryana Police Sub Inspector posts till Friday, 11:59 pm, at hssc.gov.in.
The state commission has to fill 400 posts of Male Sub-Inspector and 65 posts of Female Sub Inspector of Group C in the Haryana Police Department through the direct recruitment process. The selected candidates will be recruited under pay scale- Rs.35400- 112400- level-6, cell-I.
To be eligible, aspirants should have passed Graduation from a recognized university or its equivalent, and Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit is compulsory. The age of the applicant should not exceed 27 years on the first day of the month in which the applications are invited i.e June 01, 2021. The candidates who had applied earlier for the Sub-Inspector posts against advt 06/2019, will have to apply again, as previous Advt. 06/2019, for 400 posts of Sub Inspector was cancelled.
To apply online male candidates belonging to the general category have to pay an application fee of Rs 150, whereas, the female candidates have to pay Rs 75. Male candidates belonging to the Haryana state SC/BC/EWS category have to submit the application fee of Rs 35 and for the females of these categories, the application fee is Rs 18. It is advised that candidates read the official brochure available on the website before filling the application form. All the particulars filled in the application form should be correct and the same should be checked twice before making the final submission. There is no provision of application form correction, hence candidates should ensure that they fill the form carefully.
Once the candidate is done applying online they will receive the Registration number and the password will be generated, these details should be kept safely for future reference. The hard copy of the application form along with the requisite documents should be presented to HSSC when asked. The application forms of the candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected.
All shortlisted candidates on the basis of application will have to undergo a Knowledge Test of 80 marks in total. The exam comprising of 100 objective types, multiple-choice questions is likely to be held on 01 August 2021, subject to the conducive situation. The examination will be of 90 minutes duration. The date of issuing of call letters will be released in due course of time at the official website – hssc.gov.in.
The knowledge test paper will include questions based on General Studies, General Science, Current affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical ability, Agriculture, Animal husbandry, other relevant fields etc. The examination will be bilingual, both in English as well as in Hindi languages. The candidates who qualify Knowledge Test has to go through the Physical Screening Test, which is qualifying in nature. The aim of the physical screening test is to check the endurance and physical fitness of the applicants.
