Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bangalore, Karnataka is currently recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Diploma Technicians. The recruitment for this post is reserved for SC/ ST/ OBC categories. As per the official notice, 15 vacancies are available for this recruitment. The appointment for the Technician post is on a tenure basis. This means that aspirants are recruited for a short time – 04 years under this recruitment. Based on the requirement and workload, their service period may get extended. The candidates recruited in the Non-Executive Cadre are posted at the HAL Detachment, Airforce Station, Tambaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Newly appointed Technicians receives a monthly remuneration Rs 43,100/- along with other benefits and allowance such as dearness allowance, house rent allowance, washing allowance, provident fund canteen allowance and others.
Indian nationals who have a Diploma in Engineering/ Technology in the concerned field can submit their forms for Technician post. OBC candidates must have secured a minimum 60% marks and SC/ ST must have obtained 50% marks in their Diploma. The essential qualification should be attained from regular or full time institute/university after the 10th standard. A minimum of 07 years of work experience is required in the concerned department. While applying, OBC aspirants upper age should not exceed that of 31 years and 33 years for SC/ ST candidates. The age and work experience of the candidates is calculated as on March 01, 2020.
Eligible and interested candidates are required to submit online applications via hal-india-co.in. They must possess a valid email ID and mobile number so that information regarding the written exam, DV round, medical test, etc are easily conveyed. On successful submission of application, a registration acknowledgement form is generated with an application reference number. Keep this save for future use.
The selection procedure is conducted as a written examination. Candidates who are found eligible as per the online application form are called for the written exam. The test will be organized for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Question papers comprise of 160 Multiple Choice Questions. There will be three parts of the question papers – General Awareness, English and Reasoning and Questions from Concerned Discipline. The test will be conducted at Bangalore for which the time and date will be conveyed through registered email. The same can be checked via the HAL website, hal-india.co.in. Merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks secure by candidates in the written exam. Hereafter, a DV round is also conducted for final selection.
