Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board (GSHSB) has released the results today, August 21, 2021, for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2021. Results have been published on the official website gujcet.gseb.org. Apart from the official website, candidates can also check their results on result.gseb.org. According to official reports, a total of 474 students from Group A and 678 students from Group B have managed to score 99 percentile in the entrance exam. Additionally, 4,660 candidates from Group A and 6,727 candidates from Group B have scored above 90 percentile. With such commendable results achieved, such students can definitely aim for top-notch colleges in Gujarat to pursue UG courses in Engineering and Pharmacy.
This year, a total of 1,17,932 students had registered for the GUJCET examination. Of these, 1,13,202 students appeared for the exam while 4,730 were absent. Of the total candidates who appeared for the exam, 67,951 were male while 45,251 were female. A total of 46,013 had appeared for the Group A or engineering entrance test. 66,909 students had appeared for the Group B or Pharmacy examination. Similarly, 280 students appeared for both groups A and B. Including both groups, 1,152 students scored the 99th percentile in the state-level entrance exam.
Here are the official statistics for GUJCET 2021 in the case of students who scored above the 90th percentile –
Above 98 percentile – 940 from Group A and 1,347 from Group B
Above 96 percentile – 1,853 from Group A and 2,701 from Group B
Above 92 percentile – 3,707 from Group A and 5,420 from Group B
Above 90 percentile – 4,660 from Group A and 6,727 from Group B
Official records also suggest that 9,291 students from Group A and 13,523 students from Group B scored above 80 percentile. Similarly, 11,655 students from Group A and 16,848 students from Group B scored above 75 percentile.
For now, candidates have been issued only the e-mark sheets, merely informing students of the marks obtained in GUJCET 2021. Candidates are advised to cross-check their results with the actual mark sheets, once issued by the concerned authorities. candidates who successfully qualified for the entrance exam have to appear for the counselling session soon.
The GUJCET 2021 counselling session for Engineering and Pharmacy admission will be conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). For more information on the counselling process, candidates are advised to check the official website gujacpc.nic.in. As per reports, the committee has already begun the online registration process for the counselling session.
