Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) has released the notification for the RGUKT CET on rgukt.in. As per the official schedule, candidates can fill the application for the same from August 20, 2021, to September 06, 2021, till 5:00 PM. RGUKT CET is scheduled for September 26, 2021, and the admit card for the same is going to be released on September 18, 2021. The final result of the RGUKT CET is going to be announced on October 04, 2021.
The eligibility criteria to apply for the RGUKT CET 2021 exam is passing the SSC exam on the first attempt from AP/Telangana or any recognised board. The age limit for the candidates is fixed at 15 years to 18 years. Additionally, the candidate must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana whereas the non-domiciles need to abide by the set of guidelines released for them. The last date to apply for the course with a late fine of Rs 1000/- is September 07, 2021, to September 11, 2021.
The application form of RGUKT CET 2021 is only available on the official website of RGUKT. The candidates can check out the steps provided below to apply for the exam.
Step 1: The candidates need to visit the official portal of RGUKT i.e. rgukt.in
Step 2: On the website, they need to click on the “Online Application Submission” link.
Step 3: Thereafter, the candidates have to click on Apply Online and then move to the fee payment section for registration.
Step 4: On the next page, candidates need to specify their personal details, name, category, domicile, date of birth, SSC hall ticket number, SSC board name, mobile number etc.
Step 5: After this, they need to click on the “Pay amount button” and pay the application fee via any online payment channel. The application fees for OC and BC candidates are Rs 400/- and Rs 250/- respectively. While the same for the SC/ST candidate is Rs 150/-.
Step 6: Upon successful payment, candidates have to enter their payment reference number and transaction id. After this, they need to submit all the information i.e. Personal information, education qualification, address in detail.
Step 6: Next comes the upload section wherein, they need to upload their image, photograph, SSC hall ticket/pass certificate. The file size of the image and photograph must be in the range of 20kb to 50kb. Similarly, the file size of the other documents is 150kb to 1 MB.
Step 7: In the end, the candidates need to read and accept the declaration form and must save a copy of the duly filled RGUKT CET application form for future reference.
The offline entrance test will comprise 100 questions for 100 marks, 40 questions each from the Mathematics section and Physical Science while 20 questions from Biological science. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and the level of the exam will be equivalent to class 10th exam. The successful candidates will get admission in 6 years Integrated B.Tech course in multiple streams.
