The Department of Posts, India, recently issued a notification announcing the commencement of the Lokrakshak Recruitment Board (LRB) 2021 Recruitment drive from October 01, 2021. The board can begin accepting e-payment of examination fees on or before October 26, 2021. This drive is aimed at filling vacancies under various Group 3 cadre posts. Candidates who are interested in this recruitment process must apply for the same through the Online Job Application System (OJAS). The application form will be made available on the official portal ojas.gujarati.gov.in.
The official notification has been shared by multiple defence job mentors of the state on social media platforms. The recruitment drive is aimed at filling vacancies under three different posts under Group 3. They are – 1. Non-Armed Police Constable, 2. Lokrakshak Armed Police Constable and 3. SRPF Constable.
This notification specifies that candidates interested in applying for the LRB Recruitment 2021 must do ONLY through the online mode. Hence, forms submitted via post or in-person will be rejected by authorities. While waiting for the applications to release, candidates must also make sure to check the eligibility criteria beforehand. This is to ensure that the LRB authorities accept their candidature for the recruitment drive.
The LRB Recruitment Notification 2021 also specifies two important instructions which need to be followed by all applicants. Firstly, the General category candidates have to pay the online fee within the stipulated time period. This period starts from October 01 to 26, 2021. Failure to do so may lead to a direct rejection of candidature.
The second important instruction suggests that all candidates must scan and upload their passport-size photograph and signature ONLY in the JPG format. The file size for photograph and signature must not exceed 15 KB.
Before the LRB Recruitment 2021 Application process begins, candidates are advised to go through both age-related and educational eligibility criteria. In case of age restrictions, candidates between the age of 18 and 33 will be able to apply for the available vacancies.
In terms of educational qualification, candidates who have passed the Class 12 board examination are eligible for the recruitment drive. Even those who have passed the exam conducted by the General Administration Department of Gujarat Government are permitted to apply. Of course, certain relaxations will be provided to those belonging to SC, ST, EWS and other reserved categories.
An important thing to note here is that the LKB Recruitment Notification 2021 is yet to release on OJAS’s official website. Candidates must apply for the recruitment drive only after verifying the notification on OJAS.
