The Government of Andhra Pradesh, Social Welfare Department had released recruitment for the post of Welfare and Education Assistants, in which there are 11158 vacancies. The government job seekers must not lose the chance to apply for this post before – August 10, 2019 at the website – gramasachivalayam.ap.gov.
The maximum number of vacancies are observed in East Godavari district of 1271, followed by Chittoor consisting of 1035 vacancies. To get deployed in Welfare Education Assistant post, one has to hold a degree from any university from any university incorporated under a Central / State / Provincial act or an Institution. One must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh to appear for this job. No person shall be eligible if he / she is less than 18 years of age or more than 42 years of age (i.e should not be born earlier than 02.07.1977 and not later than 01.07.2001.)
Before applying, the candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above. The Department will not be responsible for any omissions by the applicant in bio data particulars while submitting the application form online. All the applicants are requested to go through the instructions given in the user manual. After submission of the application form, any requests for changes will not be considered. If so, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 100 for each correction. No manual application for corrections will be entertained. Any incomplete / incorrect application form will get rejected automatically.
Along with the application form, one has to remit a fee of Rs 200. In addition, non-local candidates have to pay extra Rs 100 applied for any 3 districts. The fee has to be paid online using net banking / credit card / debit card gateway. IPOs or demand drafts for submitting the fees will not be accepted. Also, there is no fee charges for SC / ST / BC / PH / Ex-Service men candidates. The fee once remitted cannot be refunded back.
Syllabus for Welfare Education Assistant : There will be a written examination for 150 marks with a total number of 150 questions for both (Part A and Part B). Each correct response will fetch 1 mark and for incorrect response, 0.25 marks will get deducted.
Part A – consists of questions from – general mental ability and reasoning, comprehension (Telegu and English), General English, Current affairs of regional, national and international importance, General science, Sustainable development and environment protection.
Part B – consists of questions from topics like – women empowerment and economic development through SHG / community based organisation, Key welfare and development scheme of government of Andhra Pradesh, Physical geography of Indian sub-continent and Andhra Pradesh, Bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and its administrative / economic / socio-cultural and legal implications. Indian polity with special reference to AP.
