Andhra Pradesh Grama Sachivalayam is inviting online recruitment for the post of Village Horticulture Assistants in Andhra Pradesh from eligible canddiates within an age group of 18 to to 42 years. The interested job applicants can apply online from official website – gramasachivalayam.ap.gov.in until the last date – August 10, 2019 before 11:59 midnight.
There are 4000 vacancies in the post of Horticulture Assistant throughout various districts of Andhra Pradesh. This post carries a pay scale of Rs.14,600 to 44,870 in RPS 2015. The required qualification for this post is a 4 years in B.Sc Horticulture / B.Sc Hons in Horticulture under a recognized university or any other university accredited by the Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers, Government of India, New Delhi. Also, the candidates are required to possess a two years diploma in Horticulture from Dr. YSRHU / ANGRAU.
The candidates applying for the first time has to register themselves from the website -gramasachivalayam.ap.gov.in by availing OTPR facility. The candidates has to ensure that the particulars are filled correctly without any mistake. If a candidate wishes to modify the form, they have to click on the Edit button and make the required changes, Then, a link will be provided to pay the fee. Once the payment is done, a reference ID will be generated.
The registration fee and the examination fee of AP Grama Horticulture Assistant is Rs. 200. The non-local candidates have to pay a additional fee of Rs. 100 for each district with an upper cap of 33 districts. However the candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PH/ Ex-servicemen will not have to pay the fees.
The candidates who successfully completes a period of full 6 months of service as MPEO / MIAO / Field consultant / contract and outsourcing horticulture officer will be eligible for a maximum of 15 marks. The selected candidates will be entitled to a salary of Rs 15,000 per month for a period of 2 years of probation.
To participate in the recruitment, all the candidates has to perform on the written examination. The exam consists of multiple choice questions for a total of 150 marks. The exam comprises of two parts (Part A and Part B). Part A will include questions from – General studies and mental ability (such as quantitative aptitude / data interpretation, current affairs, history and culture with focus on AP, social justice, Indian polity and governance.) Part B will include questions from – the syllabus prescribed for 2 years diploma course in Horticulture by Dr. YSR Horticultural University, Andhra Pradesh.
