AP Grama / Ward Sachivalayam had invited online recruitment for the post of Panchayat Secretary Gr-V (7040) in Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Service from the eligible candidates with an age group of 18 to 42 years. The online application form has started from July 27, 2019. No offline forms shall be accepted from the candidates. They should fill up the form / make any pending changes before August 10, 2019 from – gramasachivalayam.ap.gov.in.
A total number of 7040 vacancies are open for the post of Panchayat Secretary in various mandals of Karnataka districts : Vizianagram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, SPSR Nellore, Chittoor, Ananthapuramu, Kurnool and YSR Kadapa.
In order to register for the post, an applicant must register and submit their bio data through OTPR (One Time Profile Registration). A user ID would be generated and the same will be sent to their registered mobile number and email address.
The candidates applying for the post of Panchayat Secretary have to hold a degree from any University in India established / incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or an Institution recognized by the UGC. The applicants have to pay 200/- , each for for application processing fee and examination fee. The candidates who is not a localite has to pay a fee of additional 100/- per district. However, the categories of SC/ST/BC/PH/ Ex-service men need not have to pay the examination fee.
The written examination consisting of Part A and Part B will be conducted with objective type of questions. Part A will have 75 questions, with general studies and mental ability of 75 marks. Part B carries 75 marks on Indian history, politics, economy, geography. The candidates can choose their preferred district for appearing in the exam. Best efforts will be made to accommodate the candidate in the 1st or 2nd choice choice districts. The exam is scheduled to be held around September 01, 2019. All the questions have to be answered on offline mode using the OMR sheet. Hall tickets for the same should be downloaded by the candidate three days before the commencement of the exam.
The selection of the candidates will be done by District Selection Committee who is the district collector of the appointing authority. The minimum qualifying marks is 40 % for OCs, 35 % for BCs and 30 % for SCs, STs and PHs. The candidates on the appointment have to work in the village secretariats established in the Gram Panchayats and will be receiving Rs 1500 per month for till their completion of 2 years probation.
