Good News for Rajasthan Govt Job Aspirants! Free Travel in Buses For You

This new facility by the Rajasthan government comes under the state budget 2021-22.

The Rajasthan government under chief minister Ashok Gehlot has proposed a new facility for the Rajasthan government job aspirants. Candidates who will be appearing for the upcoming competitive examinations like REET, RSMSSB, RVUNL, RPSC in September, 2021 can now travel free of cost in the roadway buses and fast-moving buses within the state borders. While travelling, all they have to do is produce the admit cards to avail the facility.

Rajasthan Free Travel for Students

This free travel facility in the roadways for the aspiring candidates has been mentioned in the budget. Due to this initiative, lakhs of unemployed youth in the state will get benefitted. Through this initiative, the Rajasthan government has given a big relief to the candidates. On Friday, a meeting was organized with the education minister Govind Singh Dotasra to decide upon the preparations for the upcoming examinations. The minister declared that the candidates will get a two-way free bus facility to reach their examination centres.  

In April, 2021, Pratap Singh Khanchariawans, Rajasthan Transport Minister declared that the candidates of the competitive exams and the youth brand ambassadors can travel for free in the ordinary and fast-moving buses of the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation. In this regard, Rajeshwar Singh, CMD of the corporation added that right from the first day till the end of the examination, candidates can travel both ways to and from the examination centres without paying the fare. However, it is mandatory that they carry a photo ID and admission letter while travelling.     

More than 16.5 lakh candidates have applied for the upcoming REET examination alone. The examination is scheduled for September 26, 2021. Through REET, a total 31,000 posts for teachers in the state will be filled. This examination is set to be conducted at more than 4000 centres. For this purpose, the government, as well as the private schools and colleges, have been turned into centres. Each district collector will be issued guidelines for the same.  

The RVUNL examination has already started on September 04, 2021 and will continue till September 12, 2021. The examination is being conducted to fill more than 1000 posts that include junior engineer, assistant engineer, etc. Similarly, the RPSC SI recruitment exam is scheduled from September 13 to 15, 2021. Other exams include the combined direct recruitment examination for Junior Engineer (Civil) conducted by RSMSSB is going to be held on September 12, 2021. Then, there is the agriculture supervisor recruitment exam by RSMSSB which is going to be held on September 18, 2021.
