After much wait and anticipation, IIT Kharagpur, successfully held the GATE 2022 examination today, February 12, 2022, for Physics (PH) subject. The Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) 2022 PH exam was organized during the forenoon shift, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. This implies that candidates had a total of 180 minutes for completing the entire paper through the CBT format. The entire paper was objective in nature, comprising multiple-choice questions. Aspirants had to mark the right or most appropriate option on the screen.
GATE 2022 PH Answer Key
As per the official schedule, the GATE 2022 examination is going to be conducted on February 13, 2022. So, IIT Kharagpur is expected to release the official answer key soon after, preferably in the month of March 2022. The official GATE 2022 Answer Key will be released in PDF format on the exam’s dedicated website gate.iitkgp.ac.in. However, the official answer key is not the only resource available to candidates. several subject experts and coaching institutes have already released video-based solutions for today’s PH paper.
Educators have uploaded dedicated videos on their YouTube channels discussing today’s GATE 2022 PH paper. In these video-based solutions, they have specified the correct option for each question along with details such as topics covered in the paper, difficulty level of paper, and the short reasons behind each correct answer.

Today’s GATE 2022 PH exam was organized for a maximum of 100 marks through the online mode. A total of 15 marks was allotted to General Aptitude (GA) and the remaining 85 marks were based on the PH portion. A similar format is being followed for the remaining 28 papers under GATE 2022 examination. Tomorrow, February 13, 2022, is the last day for the GATE 2022 session. After tomorrow’s session, IIT Kharagpur is expected to provide more clarity on answer key release, objection facility (if any), and result announcement. So, candidates are advised to keep tracking the official website for important exam developments.
