Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, successfully organized the GATE 2022 paper today, February 06, 2022, for the Ecology and Evolution (EY) paper. The Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) 2022 EY exam during the morning shift, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Candidates received a period of 3 hours for completing the entire paper through the online, computer-based format. The entire paper was objective in nature, comprising multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates had to identify and mark the right option on the computer screen.
GATE 2022 EY Answer Key
Since GATE 2022 is scheduled to end on February 13, 2022, IIT Kharagpur is expected to release the answer key soon after, preferably in the third week of March 2022. The official answer key will be released on the official portal gate.iitkgp.ac.in. While waiting for the official draft, candidates can rely on unofficial answer keys uploaded online by several subject experts and coaching institutes.
Several educators are in the process of uploading dedicated videos on their YouTube channels discussing today’s GATE 2022 EY paper. While discussing the paper, they have clearly specified the right options for all questions, chapters covered in questions, and brief explanations for each right answer.

It is better to jot down the right option for each question while watching the GATE 2022 answer key videos. Later, they can calculate their tentative score by comparing the answer key with their marked responses.
Today’s GATE 2022 EY exam was held for a maximum of 100 marks through the online mode. A maximum of 15 marks was allotted to General Aptitude (GA) and the remaining 85 marks were based on the EY syllabus. Being entirely objective in nature, candidates had to mark the right option for every question displayed on the screen. The same format is being followed for rest of the 28 papers under GATE 2022 examination.
