Graduate Aptitude Test in engineering (GATE) 2022 Geomatics Engineering (GE) exam was smoothly conducted today, February 13, 2022. The GATE 2022 GE exam was scheduled in afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This exam is based on the objective type questions and was Computer Based Test (CBT). How to check GATE 2022 GE Answer Keys
Now the exam conducted successfully , Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT -KGP) will release the answer keys for GATE 2022 GE on February 15, 2022 at their official website –gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Until then, candidates can check the unofficial answer keys from the various coaching institutes and subject experts in the mean time.

Exam Pattern :
GATE 2022 GE question paper comprised of objective type questions. The exam pattern was divided into three types of questions – Multiple choice Questions (MCQs) , Multiple Select questions ( MSQs) and Numerical Answer Type questions (NATs) .
Candidates were given three hours to complete their exam . The maximum marks of the paper is 100 There were total 65 questions. The question paper is segregated into 3 sections -General Aptitude (GA) , Engineering Mathematics and the core discipline. The General Aptitude section carry the weightage of 15% , that included the verbal, numerical & quantitative ability topics and engineering mathematics have 13%weightage and core discipline have the weightage of 72%. As per the Marking Scheme , there will be a negative marking in MCQs , for 1 mark MCQ , 1/3 marks will be subtracted for the incorrect answer and For 2 mark MCQs ,2/3 marks will be subtracted for the incorrect one. There will be no negative marking for MSQs and NATs. Candidates will be judged based on their analytical, comprehension, recall and synthesis skills.
