The first shift of the first day of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 has just concluded. The Computer Science examination was scheduled from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. GATE 2022 Computer Science exam was held in fully computer-based test (CBT) mode. All test papers of the exam follow an objective-type pattern. However, with the conclusion of the examination, students now seem to be in search of the answer keys. How to check?
The official answer keys get released after a few days of the exam. Meanwhile, the GATE 2022 Computer Science answer key has been released by subject experts and educators on the Youtube channel and their websites. Candidates can easily access them by following the steps given below.

Step 2- Type ‘GATE 2022 Computer Science answer key’ on the search box
Step 3- A list of videos will appear
Step 4- Check the question paper discussions and calculate a tentative score.

Exam Pattern
As mentioned already, the pattern of the test papers is objective-type based. The official information bulletin says that the pattern of questions will include some Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. Candidates were given a duration of 03 hours to appear for the exam.
The questions were designed in such a way to test the candidate’s recall, comprehension, application, analysis and synthesis skills. A total of 65 questions were asked in the exam. These questions were divided into 10 questions from General Aptitude (GA) and 55 questions from Computer Science (CS). However, the marks distribution is such that GA covered 15 marks, Engineering Mathematics for 13 marks and 72 marks for Computer Science. As such, the total marks of the question paper was 100.
There will be negative marking in the GATE 2022 exam. For every 01 mark MCQ, 1/3 marks will be deducted. Similarly, for every 02 mark MCQ, 2/3 marks from the question will be deducted.
