National Board of Examination (NBE) has announced the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2021 exam results on the official website natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in. As per reports, around 23.73% of candidates passed or qualified for the post-graduate certificate examination this year. A notice announcing the results was published on the official website by the NBE authorities yesterday. The FMGE June 2021 examination was conducted on June 18, 2021, through the online computer-based format. Candidates who have successfully qualified this exam will be awarded a pass certificate with a QR code and a barcode.
According to reports, this year, 23.73% students cleared the FMGE June 2021 examination out of the total 18,048 candidates. This is much more than last year when 19.46% students had passed the certificate examination. Out of the total 19,122 candidates, 3,722 had successfully passed the exam. Therefore, there is approximately a 4% rise in the number of candidates passing the exam this year in comparison to 2020.
According to the public notice issued by NBE authorities, candidates will be able to download their individual score cards from the official website from July 06, 2021. As of now, students can only see their exam status – pass, fail or withheld. The notice also clarified that the candidates whose photo ID is under verification, court matters, or are awaiting security clearances have been kept under the “withheld” category. Other than this, in case of any queries regarding the FMGE 2021 results, candidates can contact the NBE authorities using their phone number of the web portal.
While students can access their individual results from July 06, 2021, no candidate will be sent a copy of his/her result by the authorities. Hence, the only way to download the results is through the two official NBE portals – natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in.
Once released, students must click on the ‘NBE FMGE June 2021 Result” notification available on the official portal. They will be redirected to the login page in which students have to enter their login credentials. By submitting the credentials, candidates shall gain access to the FMGE 2021 results which they can either print or download for future use.
To qualify this certificate examination and achieve the “PASS” status, aspirants had to score a minimum of 150 marks out of 300. However, for those who were unable to qualify the exam, NBE does not provide any re-evaluation facility. Therefore, no such requests will be entertained by the board authorities. The only way for such candidates to qualify the exam is to re-apply next year. Furthermore, there is no limit on the number of times a candidate can appear for the FMGE 2021 examination.
