The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released the official notification for recruiting Social Security Officer (SSO), Manager Grade-II and Superintendent in ESI Corporation. Interested candidates can submit online applications via the official websites esic.nic.in and ibpsonline.ibps.in. A total of 93 vacancies are going to be filled via direct recruitment. Candidates are advised to submit the application forms well before the closing time.
Important Dates
So far, the date for the preliminary examination has not been announced by ESIC. However, candidates must submit their application forms by April 12, 2022. The online application fee is Rs 500 for all categories and Rs 250 for SC, ST, PWD, Departmental Candidates, Female Candidates, and Ex-Servicemen categories.

Vacancies & Salary
As mentioned already, a total of 93 vacancies are going to be filled via ESIC SSO recruitment 2022. These vacancies have been further divided among the different reservation categories, details regarding which are given below.

The official notification says that the pay scale will be as per level 7 of pay matrix of the 7th Central Pay Commission. In other words, the salary ranges from Rs 44,900 up to Rs 1,42,000. Additionally, the selected candidates will be eligible for DA, HRA, Transport and other allowances from time to time, as per rules.
Selection Process
There will be three phases in the recruitment process. The first phase is the preliminary examination which is followed by the main examination and lastly, the computer skill test and descriptive test. It must be noted that Phase 1 is qualifying in nature and the marks will not be counted for final merit.
- Phase 1 – The preliminary examination will be held for three subjects namely English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude. A total of 100 questions will be asked for 100 marks and a duration of 60 minutes will be given.
- Phase 2 – In the next phase, the main examination will be conducted for Reasoning/Intelligence, General/Economy/Financial/Insurance Awareness, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude. The exam will be held for 200 marks for which a duration of 2 hours will be given.
- Phase 3 – The computer skill test will comprise preparation of two power point slides, typing matter on MS Word with formatting and preparation of table on MS Excel. The descriptive paper will have one letter writing and one essay writing question.
