Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical Colege, Kalaburagi is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Resident and Senior Resident. As per the notice, 53 vacancies are announced for Senior Resident and 21 vacancies for Junior Resident post. A walk-in-interview is scheduled to be conducted on September 15, 2020, at ESIC, Medical College, Kalaburagi.
The recruitment for the announced posts is appointed on purely contractual basis. The service period for both the posts is for a maximum period of 01 years. Candidates who are recruited as Senior Resident post receives a monthly salary of Rs. 92,000/- and Junior Resident gets Rs. 76,000/-.
ESIC accepts application form only eligible candidates. So, candidates who have obtained PG degree/ Diploma( MD/ MS/ DNB/ Dip.) in concerned post-graduate subject can apply for Senior Resident post. Candidates who have completed 03 years as Senior Resident post are not eligible to apply. Applicants who have obtained educational qualifications as per MCI guidelines can apply for Junior Resident post.
Moreover, candidates have to ensure that they satisfy the age limit as specified by ESIC. To apply for the Junior Resident post, candidate’s age should be below 30 years. Those who are applying for Senior Resident post have to ensure that their age does not exceed that of 44 years as on the date of interview.
Candidates who are applying for both Junior Resident and Senior Resident post have to submit separate applications. There is no need to apply online/ send the application form to the conducting body. Eligible applicants have to walk-in and register themselves from 09: AM to 11:00 AM. They have to reach the venue for the interview with the application form and certain documents. These original documents include 10th pass certificate, MBBS certificate, PG/ DNB/ Diploma certificate, registration with state medical council, caste certificate issued by competent certificate, experience certificate, proof of ID, passport size 02 photograph and other documents if any. On the day of the interview, candidates also have to produce No Objection Certificate from the present employer as well.
The selection procedure for ESIC recruitment for 100 marks. Out of the total 100 marks, 50% marks are allocated to the eligibility criteria of the candidates. The rest marks are given based on the performance in the interview round. Selected candidates have to join immediately after the issue of offer appointment. The final seelction of candidates is purely based on personal interview.
