The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation has conducted the ESIC Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) Grade II exam on Wednesday, March 30, 2021. The official answer key for the written exam will be released soon on the official website of ESIC. Once released the answer key can be accessed from the official website of ESIC at esic.nic.in. The examination was conducted to recruit candidates to 1120 vacancies available under ESIC IMO post. Various educators have released the unofficial answer keys for the ESIC IMO exam soon after the conclusion of the exam.
ESIC IMO Answer Key
The official answer key of the IMO examination is expected to be released in the 2nd week of April on the official website of ESIC. Candidates will have the option to raise objections against the provisional answer key once it is released. ESIC IMO Paper Pattern and Marking Scheme
Once the answer key is released, candidates can calculate their tentative scores using the marking scheme. The IMO examination consists of two stages where Stage 1 is the written examination conducted in a computer-based mode. The written exam consisted of two sections where Section 1 contained questions from General Medicine and Pediatrics and Section 2 contained questions from Surgery, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Preventive & Social Medicine.
The exam was conducted for a total of 200 marks, with each question carrying 1 mark each. So the candidates can calculate their tentative scores by adding 1 mark to the right answers.
Qualifying Marks
The qualifying marks for candidates belonging to the unreserved category is 45%. For EWS and OBC, it is 40%, whereas for SC and ST, it is 35%. For PwD, it is 30%. Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for an interview as the second stage of the selection process.
