ETSSE 2021 registration process began on April 01, 2021, on the official website recruitment.nta.nic.in. However, NTA recently decided to extend the deadline by a month to give more time to candidates to complete the registration formalities. Eligible candidates have to complete the 4-step registration process before June 01, 2021, to appear for the exam.
The first step includes registering on the official website and note down the computer-generated application number. They must provide all the candidate information including personal details, contact details and address details. Furthermore, they must create a password and enter the security pin before submitting the information. The registration number generated after this step must be used for future correspondence. Candidates shall be given a correction facility from May 04 to 06, 2021 to make the required changes. However, they may note that no further correction requests shall be entertained beyond the correction period.
The next step includes filling the ETSSE 2021 application form. To access this form, aspirants must log in to the official website by entering the registration number and password. After completing the application form, candidates must submit certain important documents as part of the third step.
The documents to be submitted include the candidate’s photograph and signature. They must be submitted in the JPG format as per the dimensions prescribed by NTA. Moreover, the photograph must either be coloured or black and white. Following this, candidates have to pay the ETSSE 2021 application fee to complete the registration process.
The registration fee depends on the post for which the candidate is applying. Aspirants applying for the post of Principal or Vice Principal are expected to pay Rs. 2000 whereas those applying for PGT or TGT have to pay Rs. 1500 as an application fee. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories are not required to pay any application fee.
ETSSE 2021 application fee can be paid using Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking facility. The mentioned registration fee does exclude the processing and GST charges. These charges must be borne by the candidate while carrying out the transaction. However, this norm is not applicable for candidates paying through Master or Visa Debit Card.
After successfully paying the application fee, candidates shall be able to print the confirmation page. In case the confirmation page is not generated, it indicates that the transaction has been cancelled or the amount has been refunded to the candidate’s bank. In such cases, candidates have to pay the application fee again to generate the confirmation page.
