Duly Verified Result Awaited Attestation Form

The JEE Main 2021 information bulletin mentions that one of the documents to be uploaded in the application form is “duly verified result awaited attestation form”. This document needs to be of size within 50 to 500 kb. However no further explanation regarding what it is, and where to get it from is not explained.

A number of queries are pouring in regarding the duly verified result awaited attestation form. Students and guardians filling up the form are unclear on how to proceed without this document. Some, are trying to reach out to officials over social media as well.

APPLICATION FORM

However, it has been observed by a number of candidates who have already filled the JEE Main 2021 application form, that there was actually no option to upload any duly verified result awaited attestation form in the application form.

Uploading of documents is the third step in the form submission process. The first two being registration, followed by filling of details in the form. In the third step, candidates are encountering documents upload option, where they are being asked to upload the following documents only:

(1) Photograph – A recent photograph of the applicant in a file sizeof 10 kb to 200 kb.

(2) Signature – Signature pf the candidate in a file size 4 kb to 30 kb.

(3) Candidates who are under a reserved category have to upload SC / ST / OBC / EWS category certificate, in a file size 50 kb to 300 kb.

(4) PWD candidates have to upload PWD certificate in a file size 50 kb to 300 kb.

NTA had asked for result awaited form in the application form of CSIR NET earlier this year. In the CSIR NET exam, candidates who fell under the Result Awaited category had to upload this document. RA candidates were provisionally eligible to appear for the exam, provided they completed the qualifying degree with requisite percentage of marks within the validity period of two years to avail the fellowship. In this case, the official brochure of the NET exam also carried the format for RA certificate in its annexure XIV.

In the case of JEE Mains, no format for result awaited certificate has been provided in the bulletin.

JEE Main 2021 will be held four times this year. The application form was recently released, on December 16 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The deadline to apply is January 16, 2021, and that to pay fee is January 17, 2021. The first session of exams will be from February 23 to 26, 2021. Thereafter the session 2 exams will be from March 15 to 18, session 3 during April 27 to 30, and the session 4 will be from May 24 to 28, 2021. Paper 1 for engineering admissions will be held all four times. Whereas the paper 2 for B.Arch and B.Planning will only be two times, in Feb and May.
