DU JAT 2019 Second Allotment List releasing today at du.ac.in

DU admission 2019 allotment list for BMS, BBA, BBE through JAT can be checked from today.

DU JAT Allotment 2019

Delhi University is publishing the second allotment list for BMS, BBA, BBE admission 2019-2020 through Joint Admission Test (JAT) today, on August 9, 2019, at du.ac.in. The second list, like the first one, will contain roll numbers, form numbers, name, rank, allotted college, allotted course, college preference, and category. Students who are allotted seats through it must fill online application form for admission between August 10, 2019, and August 13, 2019, and fee must be paid by August 14, 2019.

To check the admission list, students will have to visit du.ac.in. All DU admission 2019 related notifications are published under alerts and notification section, where, BMS / BBA (FIA) / BA(H) Business Economics – Second Admission List can be accessed upon availability. In order to see whether seat has been allotted (to student) or not, students can use search function of browser and search roll number. Otherwise, they can scroll down to relevant category list and see one by one entry in the list to check presence of own roll number.

For admission, students with allotted seats will have to log in to the UG Admission Portal using their registered email and password. The allotted course and college will be displayed and if the candidates wish to get admission in the displayed course, they can click on the ‘Apply for Admission’ button. If the candidates do not pay the fees in the scheduled period, then they will not be allotted the seats. Candidates are not required to visit the college to take admission. They can complete the process online as per the deadline.

After the first step, the college will examine the documents uploaded by the candidates. If the documents are found satisfactory, then the admission will be approved. The candidates have to be available, as the college might contact them on their registered email and mobile number for any admission related queries.

Once the admission is approved, candidates will have to pay the college fee in the stipulated time allotted for the purpose via online mode. The students who have been successfully admitted will have to present themselves with the documents for verification in person at the time of commencement of classes.

A total of 1,667 students were allotted seats through the first allotment that was released on August 5. The list contained 790 Unreserved, 354 OBC,200 SC, 57 ST, 49 EWS, 121 Sikh, 43 PWD, and 53 CW students.

A third allotment list will also be released for DU JAT 2019. Date of issuance of third list is August 16, 2019. For that round, applications will be accepted from allotted students on August 17 and 18, and fee payment will close on August 19.

The Joint Admission Test 2019 was held on July 6, 2019, as a part of the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) conducted by NTA this year. The number of students who had registered for the exam was 28,841, and 19,837 students had appeared for the exam.

Delhi University admission 2019-2020 is ongoing for UG, PG programs. Admission in undergraduate programs is offered through entrance test as well as merit (class 12 marks). In case of entrance exam, admission process involves seat allotment on basis of marks obtained by student in entrance test and option chosen. Whereas merit based admission is as per cut offs released by DU for each college and course.
