Students participating in BSTC 2019 counselling have to wait a little longer for their result. More than 7 lakh admission seekers of 2-year D.El.Ed course in Rajasthan will be able to check counselling result and print college allotment letter from tomorrow. For reasons unknown, the Rajasthan Department of Education, Bikaner, has once again postponed the publication of first allotment list. Now the new date for college allotment result is August 9, 2019.
Initially the result (first allotment list) was supposed to be announced on August 7, 2019. Since no exact time was mentioned for the same, it was anticipated that the organizing body may announce it anytime by evening. However on the scheduled date that was yesterday, late last night the body posted on its website bstc2019.org that now counselling result will be would be published by late evening on August 8, 2019, that is today. And today, in the evening, a new message was published effectively pushing the counselling result date by 24 hours more.
These constant delays in counselling result of BSTC 2019 has irked several students. Few have taken to social media to express their feelings on the matter. The biggest complaint of most is that there should be a firm date, on which they can visit the website and check result, rather than getting worried everyday and every hour wondering when it will come.
The past 48 hours have been harrowing for the D.El.Ed admission seekers. On one hand they are already worried over what their results could be, whether they will get a college or not, and on the other hand they have to keep refreshing bstc2019.org only to be met with another date delayed notice.
While the candidates are right in their place, the organizing body may also have its own reasons for these schedule changes. Since July, the schedule of BSTC counselling has been changed four times. Most of these were for reasons to help candidates: extension of registration, addition of colleges, removal of colleges, and so on. It is likely that the counselling result, college allotment delays are also for a reason or reasons beyond their control or for reason or reasons that are letting them foolproof the results so that candidates do not face any issues later. Or it could simply be technical issues.
As per the schedule, candidates who are allotted a college are supposed to submit fee and report between August 9 and 13, 2019. Now that the allotment itself is delayed, these dates may change.
