Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has declared the results of the Fire Operator on its official website. Candidates, who have appeared in the DSSSB Fire Operator exam held from April 20 and 22, 2021, can check their results from the OARS portal i.e dsssbonline.nic.in.
To check the result, candidates need to visit the official website of DSSSB online- dsssbonline.nic.in. Thereafter, they need to login into their account by entering their class 10th roll number, date of birth, class 10th passing year, password, and verification code. Once login details are entered, candidates can check the results of Fire Operator (postcode 18/19) in Delhi Fire Services, from the dashboard. In the result, the marks obtained in the written exam and student information are given. They will have to download and print the scorecard for future use.
Meantime, when the report was written, the other website of the subordinate services selection board dsssb.delhi.gov.in was unresponsive. An error showing “The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later,” was on the home screen. The candidates can check their results from the OARS portal – dsssbonline.nic.in.
Based on the media reports, a total of 18,015 candidates had appeared in the Fire Operator written examination that was held in April this year. On the basis of performance in the online written test, a total of 3,367 candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage of recruitment. Whereas, the results of the 04 candidates have been withheld for further scrutiny of their candidature.
Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be further called for the skill driving test. If a candidate fails to appear in the skill driving test, then they will not be allowed to appear in the next stage, says DSSSB through the result notice.” Further, the candidates regarding the skill driving test will be informed separately through a notice on the website of the Board.

As per the cut-off released by the board, candidates from the general category need to score 40% marks to clear the recruitment exam. Candidates belonging to OBC and SC/ST/PH categories need to score 35 and 30%. On the other hand, 5% relaxation is provided to the ex-serviceman, based on their category, they can avail maximum relaxation of 30%. The final selection of the candidates is based on merit against the notified vacancies provided and fulfilling all the required eligibility conditions.
