Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), is inviting applications to fill up vacancies for its premier laboratory at Hyderabad. The government organization has advertised 05 vacancies for the post of Junior Research Fellow at the official website i.e. drdo.gov.in. Candidates holding adequate qualifications in Engineering/Technology are encouraged to apply for the recruitment on the prescribed proforma before 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement i.e. December 31, 2020.
As per the official advertisement available at the website of DRDO, the vacancies are available for the posts of Junior Research Fellow at Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) in Hyderabad, Telangana. There are two categories of posts i.e. Junior Research Fellow (JRF-01) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF-02). Selected candidates are to be paid a stipend of Rs 31000 per month in addition to HRA as per DRDO rules.
DRDO RECRUITMENT 2020 FOR JRF IN DRDL DETAILED ADVERTISEMENT
Aspirants must meet the specified minimum eligibility conditions before applying for this recruitment. There are restrictions on the maximum permissible age of the applicants The maximum permissible age of the applicant, in this case, is 28 years as on the last date of submission of applications. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST categories can avail relaxation of 5 years on the upper age limit while those who belong to the OBC category can avail relaxation of 03 years on the upper age limit.
Applicants are required to have a First Class B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering from a recognized university. Along with this, candidates must also have valid GATE score in the subject codes ME or AE. Candidates who have a First Class M.E./M.Tech degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering are also eligible to apply provided that they have also completed their graduate engineering degree in the aforementioned disciplines.
Selection of eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of valid GATE score and percentage of marks obtained in the minimum qualifying degree. Candidates must, however, note that the GATE paper and subject of the qualifying degree are related to the subject/discipline of engineering for which, the candidate is applying. In addition, a personal interview of shortlisted candidates will be held at DRDL, Hyderabad. The interview will be held through video conferencing or as decided by the Director of DRDL. Candidates will be individually communicated regarding the details of the interview including the time and date through post or registered email ID.

The proforma is appended with the detailed advertisement in the form of an appendix. Aspirants must fill-up the form by entering complete details of name, email, mobile number date of birth and educational qualifications among others. It must be noted that candidates have to appear in the interview with original copies of all supporting documents along with 2 copies of recent passport-sized photographs at the time of interview.
