Professional Examination Board (PEB) is all set to begin the counselling process for the Dadra and Nagar Haveli (DNH) Pre-Nursing Selection Test (PNST) 2020 shortlisted candidates. The counselling process for the year 2020-21 is going to take place for filling a total of 540 seats. Shortlisted candidates have been notified via email on their registered email ID or SMS on their registered mobile number. According to the message, the choice-filling process will take place from September 01 to 07, 2021, on the official website mponline.gov.in.
The DNH PNST 2020 notification was released on January 02, 2021. Subsequently, the exam was conducted on February 06 and 07, 2021. Results for the same were announced two months later, on April 07, 2021. Since then, candidates have ardently waited for the announcement of the counselling schedule. Many candidates even went as far as contacting the authorities via email or call to get more clarity.
The delay can be attributed to the second wave of COVID-19. All state- and national-level exams were either cancelled or postponed due to the rising number of cases. Under such circumstances, conducting the DNH PNST 2020 counselling was impractical.
Now that the country has surpassed and controlled the pandemic situation, various students received an email or message about the counselling schedule. Below is the message regarding the DNH PNST 2020 counselling schedule –

To appear for the choice-filling session, candidates have to login to the official website mponline.gov.in using their exam roll number and date of birth. After logging-in, they are supposed to fill-in their choices based on their preference. They have been given a week’s time to fill-in their choices. Candidates will be allotted vacancies based on their DNH PNST 2020 exam score and category.
While there is some amount of clarity regarding the choice-filling session, students have some lingering doubts about the DNH PNST 2020 selection process. Firstly, there are 540 vacancies in this recruitment drive. However, students are not sure about the category-wise distribution of vacancies. Moreover, authorities have not specified the category-wise cut-offs. Hence, candidates are unable to gauge their recruitment chances.
As of now, the counselling link has not be activated. Candidates are advised to visit the official website consistently for any updates in this regard. While the counselling process for DNH PNST 2020 starts today, the PNST 2021 exam is likely to take place in October 2021. In case the pandemic situation remains stable, there won’t be a delay in the counselling process, as experienced by candidates this year.
