Directorate of Health Services, Manipur is organizing a walk-in-interview for the recruitment of Medical Officers. DHS, Manipur has announced the recruitment to fill up the 100 vacant posts of Medical Officers. The walk-in-interview is scheduled to be held on August 17, 2020. The forms for recruitment are available from August 06, 2020. Aspirants can submit their forms from August 07, 2020, to August 12, 2020. Eligible and interested candidates can download the official notification from manipurhealthdirectorate.in.
The provisional shortlisted candidates have to present on August 17, 2020, at Directorate of Health Services, Manipur, Lamphelpat. for the interview. They must reach by 08:00 AM and report the concerned officer. Eligible candidates are issued admit card as on August 14, 2020. The recruitment to the said post is on contractual basis. Aspirants are shortlisted for the post of Medical officer for a period of three months. They have to be a part of COVID-19 related duties. Selected candidates will receive the remuneration of Rs. 2500/- on a per day duty basis.
Candidates intending to apply for Medical Officers must possess Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council (IMC) Act 1956. Along with educational qualification, aspirants must have completed their rotating internship. They must have a registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council. All the eligibility qualification must be attained by candidates on the last date of submission of application i.e August 12, 2020.
Besides educational qualification, candidates must also ensure that they are meeting the age limit as prescribed by the conducting body. The upper age limit for General category candidates is 38 years. Age relaxations are provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved category as per State Government Policy. The maximum age limit for Other Backward Class is 41 years, for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates is 43 years and for Persons with a Disability is 48 years. The qualifying date of the calculation of age is as on the last date of the application form submission.
DHS, Manipur conducts the application procedure for Medical Officers through an offline process. Candidates can get their forms from Directorate of Health Services, Manipur, Lamphelpat. The same can be downloaded from the DHS, Manipur website, manipurhealthdirectorate.in. Candidates can get the form from both the website and DHS Office before August 11, 2020. They have to pay Rs. 1000/- to get the form. However, SC/ ST and PWD candidates have to pay Rs. 750/- to obtain the form. The filled-in application form should be submitted to the Directorate of Health Services, Lamphelpat.
