All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in its recent notification has announced the recruitment for Nursing Officer. Candidates can submit their applications for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common eligibility Test (NORCET) 2020. The Computer Based Test (CBT) is scheduled for September 01, 2020. Those who qualify the test are appointed as Nursing Officer with a monthly salary of Rs.9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4600/-. The detailed notification for this recruitment with Notice No. 106/2020 can be downloaded from aiimsexams.org. Submit the online applications for NORCET 2020 before August 18, 2020.
Candidates who have B. Sc (Hons) Nursing / B. Sc Nursing are eligible to apply online. Those who have B. Sc (Post certificate) / Post Basic B. Sc Nursing can also submit their forms. Aspirants must have registered themselves as Nurses and Midwife with State/ Indian Nursing Council. Those who have a diploma in General Nursing Midwifery along with registration as Nurses and Midwife in State/ Indian Nations Council are also eligible. Moreover, they must have two years of work experience in a minimum of 50 bedded hospital.
The age shall be calculated as on the last date of closing of the online applications. Candidates must have completed 18 years while applying. Their upper age must not exceed that of 30 years. For details related to the age relaxation, refer to the official notification.
The application form for NORCET 2020 can be submitted by visiting aiimsexam.org.in. To get the form link, candidates have to click on recruitment > Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) – 2020. Aspirants are directed to the login page where they have to register themselves first. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the registration slip and proof of payment with them for their record.
While submitting the application form, candidates have to pay the application fee through Debit Card/Credit Card/ Netbanking. General and OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 1500/-, SC/ ST/ EWS category candidates have to pay Rs. 1200. Candidates with Disability are exempted from the application fee submission.
Based on the eligibility, aspirants are called for the CBT exam. AIIMS, Delhi publishes the admit card for NORCET exam on the AIIMS website only, aiimsexam.org. The syllabus and exam pattern for the NORCET exam 2020 is available on the website. Candidates who are able to qualify the CBT exam are invited for the document verification round. Provisionally shortlisted candidates are required to carry documents such as the registration slip, caste certificate, No Objection Certificate, Disability certificate, Copy of downloaded admit card, date of birth certificate, INC/ State Nursing Council registration and experience certificate.
