Delhi Police has reportedly informed the Staff Selection Commission about 5846 available vacancies for the post of Constable (Executive). The Staff Selection Commission has already published the tentative exam dates for conducting the recruitment to fill up the notified vacancies in a recently released revised time table. The exam is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in November – December 2020. SSC is expected to release the official recruitment advertisement at the website ssc.nic.in for the aforementioned recruitment. Interested candidates who are aspiring for recruitment can visit the official website of the SSC to check the exam dates.
Staff Selection Commission has already announced the tentative schedule of the exam for the recruitment of eligible candidates. The exam for Constable (Exe) recruitment in Delhi Police is scheduled to be conducted on November 27 & 30, 2020, December 01 to 03, December 07 to December 11 and December 14, 2020. The revised time table of upcoming recruitment exams to be conducted by the SSC is available at the official website of the Commission.
As per the latest media reports, the SSC has been informed by the Delhi Police about the vacancies in an official letter. A total of 3433 openings are reportedly available for the post of Constable (Exe)-Male (Open). On the other hand, 226 openings are available for the post of Constable (Exe)-Male Ex-Servicemen (Others). 243 openings are available for the post of Constable (Exe)-Male Ex-Servicemen (Commando). As such, there are 3902 vacancies available altogether for male candidates. In addition, 1944 vacancies are also available for the post of Constable (Exe) Female which are reserved for female candidates. Altogether, there are 5846 vacancies available for male and female candidates.
As per the stay order published by Delhi Police regarding the aforementioned recruitment at the official website, i.e. delhipolice.nic.in, candidates who have passed Class 10th and 12th are eligible to apply for the aforementioned vacancies of Constable (Exe). Such applicants must be at least 18 years old and not more than 25 years old in order to apply for the recruitment. Staff Selection Commission is expected to announce the commencement of the application process as and when the official notification is released. Interested candidates are advised to keep a close watch on the website of the SSC & Delhi Police to know about the latest updates of the recruitment, including the commencement of the application process.
