The online registration date for the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Common Entrance Test or DAVV CET 2021 has been extended. A notification by the National Testing Agency (NTA) dated August 09, 2021 states that the candidates can now submit the online application form along with the required fee by 11:50 PM of August 11, 2021 via davv.nta.ac.in. The NTA took this decision in order to bring in larger participation of candidates in the examination.
Earlier, the last date for submitting the application forms was August 09, 2021. But, with the extension of the registration date, it must be noted that the examination date remains the same, i.e. August 31, 2021. The admit cards for DAVV CET 2021 will be available from August 17, 2021. Before proceeding with the application, the candidate must read the information bulletin available at davv.nta.ac.in to understand the eligibility criteria for both the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. However, if a student is not familiar with the registration process, then they can take a look at the steps below.
Step 1- Visit davv.nta.ac.in and click on either of the registration options given below.
Step 2- Again, click on ‘New Registration’ and read the instructions to proceed to the application form.
Step 3- Provide personal details like name, parents’ name, gender, email ID, mobile number, permanent address and create a password.
Step 4- Now, click on the submit button to receive the application number that must be noted down.
Step 5- In the next stage, candidates have to fill up the application form by entering their qualification details.
Step 6- Then, they can upload scanned copies of the photograph, signature and PwD certificate (if applicable). After that, candidates can proceed to the payment window where they have to complete the payment.
Step 7- Post successful payment, a confirmation page will be generated and candidates can take a printout of the same.

The General/OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PWD category students have to pay Rs 1500 as application fee. Similarly, the NRI students must pay Rs 5000 as application fee. The examination is going to be a computer-based test (CBT) which will last for a duration of 90 minutes. NTA will hold the test in two groups with varying timings. The examination for the Group A or PG courses will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM while the Group B or UG courses will be conducted from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
