The JNVST Selection Test will be held on August 11, 2021, for around 47, 320 across the country. The NVS has released the JNVST admit card on the official website i.e. navodaya.gov.in. The examination is been held annually to provide admission to students in the 6th standard of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. As per the latest updates, the NVS has made all the necessary arrangements such that the examination is held as per all the safety norms.

Here are 7 things that need to candidates should follow before going for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2021:

Be Confident

Apart from good preparation, confidence is also a very necessary element to crack the JNVST Class 6th exam. Amidst the tough competition, it is the confidence of the candidate to perform better in the exam which helps him shine in the exam. The students should always follow a positive approach while appearing for the test. This not only boosts their scores but also improves their overall performance positively.

Revise Important Formulas

According to the exam pattern of the JNVST Class 6th test, there are two aptitude subjects i.e. Mental Ability Test, Arithmetic Test. These two subjects account for a lot of formulas, and questions in the exam are based on their direct application. It is hence, very crucial that candidates revise all the formulas beforehand. The candidates can also make sure that they put extra effort into those topics that are hard to remember.

Reach the Exam venus before time

As per the latest reports, the exam centres for 62 locations of the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Exam has been changed. We advise the candidates to go through the PDF list of the new centre released by the authorities. This will give them an idea if their centre has been also changed by the authorities or not. Another thing, that candidates should make sure of is reaching the exam venue at least 30 minutes prior to the reporting time. This will help the candidates to tackle any extra traffic, additionally, they can also find out the exam venue on time if they haven’t been to the same before.

Carry all the required documents

JNVST 2021 Admit Card has a list of important documents that the candidate has to carry. The candidates have to carry a neatly printed admit card, valid id proof, photograph, N95 mask etc. In the event of the non-availability of any document, the candidate’s candidature may be cancelled by the exam centre officials. Therefore, the candidates should cross-check with the checklist if they are carrying the correct documents to the exam hall.

Follow all the safety guidelines

Although, NVS has made all the necessary arrangements to conduct the examination amidst the pandemic. However, it is the candidate’s responsibility to make sure of their own safety. The candidates can maintain a safe social distance with fellow students. Along with this, they should also try to carry their own things with themselves. The candidates should avoid sharing their personal things like stationary, bottles etc with other candidates in the exam.

Attempt Easy Questions first

Attempting easy questions first and saving tough ones for the latter part is one of the best strategies to maximise scores in the exam. This also helps in managing the time limit of the exam. Solving easy questions beforehand make up the score and this boosts the confidence of the candidates for the rest of the exam.

Cross Check Your Answers at the end

Finally, the candidates should cross-check their answers in the end if they have sufficient time. This is the oldest technique but this helps in correcting any kind of mistakes before the final submission of the test paper.
