The CUET 2022 application releasing on April 02, may have been a false alarm as the NTA recently, issued an important public notice. The notice has been published on the agency’s official website nta.ac.in and specifies the schedule for the UG entrance exam. Accordingly, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 is slated for the first and second week of July 2022. All those who are interested in the entrance test can begin applying from Wednesday, April 06, 2022, through the online mode. The application form will be live on the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in.
Previously, the National Testing Agency (NTA) had issued another notification regarding CUET 2022. The document mentioned the following line –
Online Application Forms for Undergraduate Programmes will open from 02.04.2022, the link for the same will be made available on the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in.
There, however, was no sign of the CUET 2022 application form, creating uncertainty among candidates. To resolve this uncertainty, NTA issued a public notice announcing the schedule for the upcoming exam. Interestingly, the agency does not mention any reason for delay in releasing the form.
CUET 2022 – Registration from April 06
As per the official notice, the CUET 2022 registration process is all set to begin on April 06. Interested and eligible candidates will have time up to May 06, at 5 pm to fill out and submit the online form. Furthermore, NTA has decided the deadline to pay the fee as of May 06, at 11:50 pm.
It is important to note that the CUET 2022 application process shall only take place through the online mode. Furthermore, applicants are advised to rely only on the exam portal cuet.samarth.ac.in instead of third-party websites or unverified portals.

CUET 2022 – Exam Format, 13 languages Included
Although the public notice does not specify a particular date, the CUET 2022 exam is likely to be conducted in the first and second week of July. The exam is going to be organised on a nationwide-level, in the computer-based format. The CBT test shall be conducted on the Local Area Network (LAN).
The CUET 2022 question paper shall only comprise of objective-based multiple-choice questions (MCQs). As mentioned in the notice, the exam will be held in two slots – slot 1 for 3 hours 15 minutes and slot 2 for 3 hours 45 minutes.
While filling-up the CUET 2022 application form, candidates will have a chance to choose the medium of question paper from 13 distinct languages. These include English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Urdu and Telugu.
CUET 2022 – Information Brochure Released
In addition to exam schedule and format, the public notice also provides an important piece of information i.e., information brochure to release on cuet.samarth.ac.in and nta.ac.in. This prospectus will be live soon and contain details like eligibility criteria, syllabus, the application process, exam fee, etc. So, all candidates are advised to read the prospectus carefully before applying for the CUET 2022 examination.
