The Andhra Pradesh Public Services Commission (AP PSC) has announced 110 vacancies for the AP PSC Group 1 posts. The vacancies were announced along with the examination calendar released on March 18, 2022. The notification regarding the AP PSC Group 1 exam, will be released soon on the official website at psc.ap.gov.in. The notification is expected to be released in April 2022. Once the notification is released candidates can apply for the exam at the candidates portal of AP PSC.

The AP government has released the number of vacancies in AP Group 1 on March 18, 2022. AP PSC Group 1 exam is conducted to recruit civil servants under the state government. There are a total of 110 vacancies available under various posts.

APPSC Group 1 2022 Eligibility
Candidates who wish to apply for various posts under the AP PSC Group 1 recruitment 2022 must fulfill the eligibility requirements according to the posts. A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory to apply for the examination. Candidates must also possess specialized degrees for specialized posts under the notification.
Age Requirements
The age requirements for various posts under APPSC Group 1 recruitment 2022 are given below:
- Assistant Prohibition and Excise Superintendent in A.P. Excise Service: 18–26 years
- District Fire Officers in A.P. Fire Service: 21–26 years
- Deputy Superintendent of Jails (Men) in A.P. Jail Service: 18-28 years
- Deputy Superintendent of Police (Civil) Cat-2 in A.P. Police Service: 21–28 years
- For all other posts: 18-42 years
There will be age relaxation of 5-15 years for people under various reserved categories. There is a 5 year relaxation for people belonging to OBC/SC/ST categories, 10 years for PwD candidates and 15 years for SC/ST – PwD candidates. The detailed instructions regarding the posts, vacancies, and eligibility will be available along with the notification soon in the official website.
The AP PSC Group 1 examination 2022 will be conducted in three stages. The Preliminary exam, the Mains exam and the Personal Interview. The final selection list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in all three stages.
