The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) was conducted from December 16, 2021, to January 13, 2022, all over the country. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had released the response sheet and question papers on January 23, 2022. The official answer keys are expected to be released today at ctet.nic.in. The candidates will be provided with an opportunity to raise their objections against the answer key by paying a prescribed fee of Rs. 1000 per objection. It is expected that the CTET results will be declared in the month of February.
How to download the official answer key?
Step 1: Head to the official website of CTET, ctet.nic.in
Step 2: Scroll down and click on the link “Download CTET Dec 2021 Answer Key”.
Step 3: Then click on one of the links – either “Login with application number and password” or “Login with application number and date of birth”.
Step 4: Enter application number, password/ date of birth and security pin displayed on the screen.Click on ‘Sign in’. The dashboard will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: After signing in, candidates can download the answer key based on the shift.
Candidates can also access the question papers and answer keys from the table given below. Answer keys are unofficial and released by several educators and exam experts. However, these are useful and have been provided with proper explanations.

Candidates who secure a minimum of 60% marks will qualify the exam. Qualifying candidates can apply for the position of teachers, to various schools in the country. It is up to the discretion of the school management/ appointing authority to give concessions related to the qualifying marks in the case of SC/ ST/ OBC candidates and differently-abled persons.
How to raise objections against the answer keys?
Step 1: Visit ctet.nic.in
Step 2: Click the ‘view image for answer sheet, view and challenge answer keys CTET 2021’
Step 3: Now, click on ‘Submission of the key challenge for CTET 2021’.
Step 4: Enter the roll number and date of birth. Click on ‘Log in’.
Step 5: An instructions page will be displayed on the screen describing how to challenge the answer key.
Step 6: After reading all the instructions, click on the ‘Select for Challenge’ option.
Step 7: Select the question which the candidate wants to challenge.
Step 8: Pick the answer option against the specified question.
Step 9: Click on the ‘Update’ link.
Step 10: Finally, select the ‘Finalise Challenges Submission’ button and pay the fee of Rs. 1000.
The qualifying candidates will be awarded a certificate with lifetime validity by the CBSE. The CTET mark sheets and the eligibility certificate will be available to the candidates in digital format in their DigiLocker account, created by CBSE. Candidates can download them anytime by logging in to DigiLocker.
