During the application process, candidates have to upload certain documents, one of them being the “Result Awaited Certificate”. This is an altogether new requirement specified by the NTA. Read ahead to know more about this certificate.
Documents to upload during CSIR NET 2021 Registration
During the CSIR NET 2021 application process, candidates have to upload a certain set of documents. They are as follows –
# Recent photograph of the candidate
# Candidate’s signature
# Duly Verified Result Awaited Attestation Form
# Category Certificate
# PwD Certificate
What’s the Result Awaited Certificate?
To clarify, the result awaited certificate is the same as the duly Verified Result Awaited Attestation Form. This particular certificate is meant for those candidates who are applying for the exam but are yet to get their qualification results. These candidates fall under the Result Awaited (RA) category. They are also eligible to apply for this national-level exam on the condition that they score the required marks in their qualifying degree. Of course, there is a time limit of 2 years within which candidates must score the prerequisite marks to apply for the fellowship program.
As per the official CSIR NET 2021 information brochure, the RA category candidates are only eligible to apply for the fellowship. They cannot apply for lectureship or assistant professor. To prove that they are eligible for the RA category, candidates must fill the Result Awaited Attestation Form and get it attested from the competent authority.
Where to get the Result Awaited Attestation Form?
NTA has provided the result awaited form within the CSIR NET 2021 information brochure itself. Candidates have to access the brochure on csirnet.nta.nic.in and scroll down to Page 53 of the document. A declaration form will appear on the screen with certain blank spaces.
Candidates must take a printout of this form, fill in the required details and get it verified by the respective head of department. Even, the institute’s seal or seal is accepted on this form.
During the CSIR NET 2021 application process, candidates must upload a scanned copy of the attested declaration form in the format and dimensions prescribed by the NTA. Hence, they are advised to complete this formality before applying for the fellowship programme.
